Legal Aid of North Carolina (LANC) has been an Archetype client since 2001. One of the largest law firms in the state, LANC provides civil legal aid services to low-income North Carolinians. Since the pandemic descended in March 2020, staff and pro bono volunteers have worked tirelessly to assist those affected by unemployment, housing instability, inadequate health care, and other critical issues. LANC rapidly ramped up their already robust online educational efforts as well. Facebook livestreams, Zoom clinics, and self-help resources such as videos have allowed many in crisis to safely access the information they need to protect their rights during COVID-19. Archetype is proud to be a small part of this nonprofit’s good work.
